Sobre a Fa Youth Cup - Categoria Sub-18
Troféu da The FA Youth Cup 2021A Associação de Futebol lançou a Fa Youth Cup em 1952, após o sucesso da FA County Youth Cup, competição que havia sido criada sete anos antes.

Inicialmente a maioria dos clubes não tinham uma estrutura de jovens organizada, mas hoje todos os clubes, tanto da Liga quanto da Não-Liga, perceberam a importância de nutrir talentos futuros. Daí a profundidade e amplitude dos mais de 500 participantes.

Para se classificar para a Copa da Juventude, as equipes devem jogar em uma Liga juvenil, ou competição equivalente, e devem estar totalmente integradas dentro da estrutura principal do clube. Os jogadores selecionados devem ter menos de 18 anos à meia-noite do dia 31 de agosto na atual temporada.

Jogadores do calibre de George Best, Paul Gascoigne, David Beckham e Michael Owen jogaram em equipes vencedoras da Fa Youth Cup.
